Spring art update

Janney students participated in the Fundred project, where they decorated their own 100 dollar bill to bring attention to lead poisoning across the United States. Their fundreds were displayed in the Corcoran Museum of Art alongside other fundreds from across the country.

2nd grade printmaking fish

5th graders learned how to sew their own creatures using fabric and buttons.

Artist Matthew Willey has started to paint a mural of bees on a wall by the playground to raise awareness of bee populations declining. Students imagined their own murals using text, shape, and color.
