Inkscape animal illustrations

Third graders were the first class to test out the new software on the Graphic Arts laptops called Inkscape. Inkscape is a free graphics program that can create illustrations, logos, and other graphic design projects. 

Third graders explored the Inkscape tools by creating simplified animal illustrations. They practiced copying the basic shapes and colors of an animal of their choice and giving their animal detail. I'm looking forward to watching third graders grow their skills in this program.
