Imaginary plants

Second graders applied through their knowledge from science class to design an imaginary plant. They observed structures of real plants and discussed the purpose of each part, such as to pollinate and protect. They designed their own plant and wrote about their plant's name, where it lives, and how it protects itself. They added texture and value using pencil.
